Christoph Koellreuter is Honorary President of BAK Basel Economics. He was co-founder in 1980, up to 2007 managing director and chief economist and until 2009 President of BAK Basel Economics.Christoph Koellreuter was educated at the Realgymnasium Basel, the University of Basel and Queen's University, Kingston, Canada. He holds Master Degrees in Economics and Public Administration and a Ph.D. in Economics. He has been a lecturer at the Institute of Applied Economic Research of the University of Basel (1975 – 1992), and in summer 2000 a fellow at the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Center for Business and Government, Harvard University, Cambridge/MA, USA. From 2008 up to 2012 he was Managing Director and Delegate of the Board of metrobasel – platform and think tank for the development of Metropolitan Basel. |
