"Intercultural Cities" is a joint action of the Council of Europe and the European Commission which explores the potential of an intercultural approach to the integration of communities with culturally diverse populations. Cities participating in the programme are reviewing their governance, policies, discourse and practices from an intercultural point of view.
In 2009-2010, it is intended to measure the results of every city's efforts in the framework of the Intercultural Cities programme. BAKBASEL helps to develop such a monitoring instrument. |
