In many European cities, the financial sector (banks, insurance companies and other financial stakeholders) has developed into an important pillar of value and wealth.
In the project, Monitoring Financial Centers, different competitive financial centers are described and compared. The financial services industry is divided into (a) banks, (b) insurance and (c) other financial services with very detailed descriptions of performance and analysis.
Next to value and employment data, the financial industry also collects other figures like asset management, bank balance sheets, emission volumes, stock transactions or premium volumes of insurance. Along with the performance indicators, the market potential and the basic conditions are also collected as determining variables and their influence on performance (level and dynamic) is analyzed. |
